“Africa is transforming, but challenges remain” said NEPAD CEO,  Dr Mayaki. He was speaking at the Black Business Executive Circle (BBEC) Roundtable discussion themed “Making the African Renaissance work: The role of a progressive Black Business Elite” . Dr Mayaki spoke on the role of the black business elite in transforming the African Continent and the importance of Regional integration. “The main challenges facing us are collective challenges and not individual, hence Regional integration is key in transforming Africa” he said.

In attendance, Ambassador Lindiwe Zulu who is a member of the NEPAD Steering Committee also welcomed BBEC’s support to NEPAD and encouraged future stronger collaboration between the two institutions.
